Customer Service Representative – Maritime Shipping (Montreal) At the core of logistics operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless communication between clients, marine terminals, and dispatch teams. This is the ideal position for a versatile, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities: - Enter and manage transport bookings in the AS400 computer system. - Perform cargo tracking (tracing) to answer customer questions about the status of their shipments. - Manage a high volume of communications, primarily by email (approximately 100 per day) and by telephone. - Collaborate closely with dispatch departments and drivers to resolve delivery issues. - Provide proactive support to internal and external customers to ensure smooth service. Required Qualifications: - Fluent bilingualism (English and French) is mandatory, as much of the work is done with Newfoundland. - Minimum of 2 to 3 years of customer service experience in an office environment. - Excellent ability to manage several tasks simultaneously (multitasking). - Sociable, proactive temperament, capable of working effectively within a close-knit team.
